What is Europa Cup?

Europa Cup, the international florist championship, is held under the aegis of the International Florist Organization since 1967. Europa Cup is the prestigious competition of prominent European florists. Specialists will familiarise with various trends in floristics and moreover, it is one of the most significant source of innovations in the modern flower world. Europa Cup was held every two years in former times and nowadays it is held every four years like the Olympic Games. The General Assembly FLORINT decides on the venue of Europa Cup. Europa Cup has been already held in: Germany, France, Switzerland, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Austria, Slovenia. In some countries Europa Cup has been held for several times but in the Czech Republic it will be held for the first time in the town of Havířov in 2011.
